I enjoy attending Ms V's classes very much. They are engaging and have helped me to destress after a long week at school. My interest and appreciation for music has only grown ever since I started attending her classes in August 2019.

She is very skilled in her craft and has tremendously helped me to improve my musical knowledge and performance in such a short period of time! She gives helpful insights on how to make pieces easier to learn and takes time to correct mistakes no matter how big or small. She has also significantly contributed to my understanding and ability to do Music Theory, something I used to avoid.

Ms V is a fun and likeable teacher that though may have high expectations of students, still remains patient and gentle. She puts in alot of effort in her classes and does her utmost best to help us achieve our goals. I am now more confident in myself and my music because of her. Thank you Ms V!

I started taking worship keyboard lessons from Ms V since October 2024. She is very gentle, kind and patient. I don’t feel pressured to perform or guilty if I didn’t practise much. As a busy working adult, it’s difficult to juggle between work and learning a new skill like keyboard.

Each lesson is always filled with lots of fun and laughter. She would teach me tips to strengthen my finger muscle memory. She would design the lesson in a creative and motivating manner that makes me look forward to every lesson. I would strongly encourage young seniors like me to sign up and have a good time jamming with Ms V!

Learning piano with Ms V has been such a meaningful and uplifting experience. She's not only incredibly talented and knowledgeable, but also deeply kind, flexible, and understanding. I had a wonderful experience with Ms V. She is highly professional and to the point. In a very short time, she has covered alot of points and I am able to play worship songs on the keyboard with very few classes. I am really thankful to Ms V for the dedication and effort she puts on the student. She even motivates us to play better. She is good and I highly recommend her to any student who wishes to learn piano / keyboard. 

Miss V is patient and kind; her piano lessons have helped improve my piano playing skills and given me the confidence and joy to serve in church as a keyboardist. Time flies during her class as I learn and have fun at the same time. I do not mind traveling down to her place for lessons even after a long day’s work — this should speak volumes about Miss V and her class!

I first started playing the piano when I was young at Yamaha Music School, however that experience wasn’t the best. After attending Ms V’s lessons, my love for playing the piano really grew and I found playing the piano so much more enjoyable and meaningful. Ms V has never scolded me and is always patient and kind. I feel at ease during her lessons as opposed to group lessons I previously experienced, which I dreaded a lot. In contrast, I always leave Ms V’s classes with a smile and I enjoy her lessons very much. I will definitely continue attending her lessons for many more years to come.

Hello Ms V, Good Afternoon. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you immensely for teaching, coaching and guiding Flora to become a promising Piano Performer who has a great future, having done so well in her first performance. She played the piano today at the Singapore Performing Arts Festival and was judged one of the best (among the 2) and was awarded the Gold Certificate of participation for the Remote Xiangellia piece. The adjudicator has the attached comments to say; which I felt very encouraging and am pleased. Personally for me it was one of her best rendition of the song. There were a number of people in the audience who were keen to know the name of the Teacher; which kind of speaks volumes for the importance of your coaching and guidance. Once again, thank you.

I started piano lessons with Ms V during my Polytechnic days, mostly out of interest and on a bit of a impromptu decision. But it turned out to be such a good decision.

Ms V is approachable and easy to talk to, which made the lessons comfortable and enjoyable. She was able to adapt to my pace and interests, whether I wanted to improve my skills or just learn to play songs I liked. I think is this is what makes her lessons attractive to me as a adult learner.

During the lessons, she also helped me transcribe a few of my favourite pieces and guided me through them patiently, step by step. Her playing skills and teaching style really stood out.

What I appreciated most was the atmosphere she created. A relaxed, positive, and something I genuinely looked forward to each week. If you’re looking for a piano teacher who’s both talented and supportive, I’d definitely recommend Ms V.

I feel that lessons with Ms V are never boring and after every lesson, I will always have fruitful 'take-aways'. These 'take-aways' are not purely knowledge in music, but also in how to be more organised when planning things and how to be fast and systematic at the same time. Also, Ms V has also widened my scope of the world of music by showing me minor yet important things that my previous piano teacher would not even bother mentioning. Ms V has guided me with her patience in both Practical and Theory, allowing me to improve tremendously in both aspects. I have been taking adult piano lessons with Ms V for the past 3 years, and I couldn’t be happier with my progress. As an adult beginner, I was nervous about starting, but Ms V’s patient and encouraging teaching style put me at ease. She tailors each lesson to my interests and skill level, making learning both fun and challenging.

I love the piano lessons each week, they are really good! Ms V teaches me to play interesting songs. There is always variety and songs in different keys. She also makes a lot of effort to write out the worship song chords for me and now I can play my favourite worship songs on the piano!

Ms V is very gentle and forgiving. She is kind and explains concepts and theory very well so that I can understand them. I learn a lot of things about playing the piano from her.

Ms V is super kind and patient to me whenever she teaches me piano. Ms V is a patient teacher who conducts her lessons in an engaging manner. She makes lessons fun and enjoyable through her methods of teaching and adopts different techniques to help her students understand the piano pieces better. After attending lessons with Ms V, I began to fully understand the Music Theory syllabus and learnt much more efficiently. I was able to recall what I learnt from my lessons with Ms V during my Theory Exam and hence, doing extremely well for it - scoring a distinction! Also, before I started classes with Ms V, I had alot of confusion and mistakes in my Exam Pieces. However, Ms V was able to help me correct all those mistakes and also taught me another exam piece, which I was able to play fluently, all in a short span of time. Her pointers to play better and do my theory well has indeed helped my immensely. Her lessons are also always very engaging, fun and I always look forward to my piano lessons with her!

I felt music lessons with Teacher V has impacted me greatly in a positive manner since Day 1. After a few lessons on Music Theory, I was able to learn and understand the entire theory syllabus thus allowing me to perform well in the examinations. During Piano Practical lessons, she gives useful suggestions on how to improve the way a piece should be played. I find her lessons interesting and hence always look forward to every lesson.

I find Teacher V to be an excellent instructor as not only is she incredibly patient, she is also able and willing to try out many ways of making difficult pieces less taxing to learn. She also caters to the student's interest and brought out more popular songs for me to learn as for my case, I expressed a desire to learn about chords used in current music more than classical pieces. Would definitely recommend her as a teacher, especially for adults like me!

Teacher V is a very dedicated and patient teacher. She is very passionate about teaching and is also knowledgeable, humble, approachable and patient. When I first made up my mind to learn the piano, I was very hesitant as I was new to music. Though I was a beginner, she made the lesson enjoyable and comfortable.
